To Geneva to meet Simon Swycher, a hugely experienced consultant who joined TrustQore in early 2025. Boasting three decades of experience, specialising in commercial law, he brings a global perspective to the team. Born and raised in Yorkshire, Simon also speaks French and is learning Spanish. He is a proud husband and father of two sons, aged 12 and 9. He graduated from the University of Leicester with a BA (Hons) in Geography, then went on to achieve a LLM degree in Law from the York Law School and completed his training at a City of London law firm.
Simon’s career includes almost twenty years at a Geneva-based multi-family office, as a Managing Director. He acts as a ‘trusted adviser’ to high-net-worth families, assisting with complex, multi-generational wealth planning and investments. Prior to this, he worked at major global UK law firms, specialising in commercial property law, which has been his main professional focus ever since. He also gained international experience, spending time at an associated global law firm in both Prague and Warsaw and has worked on transactions across Western and Eastern Europe.
Throughout his career, Simon has built an impressive client portfolio across Europe, including the UK, and the Americas, with particularly strong connections in the US, and Mexico. Through connections and referrals he has built up over the years, he also has clients residing in the Middle East and Asia. Truly a global portfolio and one that is ideally suited to an international group such as TrustQore.
Simon’s focus will be to develop client portfolios by providing both structuring and investment advisory advice. By seeking to “complete the picture,” Simon plans for clients’ long term future wealth by way of innovative intergenerational planning. Though his work primarily revolves around private clients, a considerable proportion include corporate structures in their planning, which requires Simon to stay attuned to both private and corporate trends. He is excited about the opportunity to leverage TrustQore’s global network and diverse range of services, which will be immensely beneficial to both potential clients and their advisers.
Away from work, Simon is happiest when skiing, spending time in the mountains or relaxing by the lake with his family. His years working in Geneva have helped him develop a personal style that emphasises confidentiality and discretion, crucial traits for collaborating with high-profile clients worldwide. Though he avoids the spotlight on social media, Simon is genuinely warm and a pleasure to meet and get to know.
TrustQore is fortunate to have Simon on board and joins him in looking forward to seeing the continued growth of the business as he works together with his colleagues across the globe.
