Mauritius-based, Nico van Zyl is the Chief Commercial Officer at TrustQore. An experienced finance professional, he has worked in the offshore financial services’ sector for more than a decade. As Managing Director, Nico led the expansion at a previous employer’s Mauritius trust company, rapidly increasing revenue and tripling the staff complement. Nico has led business development teams across Europe and Africa, surpassing targets and fostering strong client relationships. During his tenure at a Gibraltar firm, he was a board member of that jurisdiction’s Association of Trust Company Managers (ATCOM) thus bringing to TrustQore a wealth of high-level industry experience. He holds the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management and the Institute of Directors’ leadership and directorship certification. Married with two children, Nico was born and raised in South Africa and speaks Afrikaans, English and intermediate Spanish. He is also a qualified yacht master and a passionate golfer.
